This post is for those who would like to sign up to the HoWL web page to get the automated e-mail updates. Those of you already registered can disregard this post.
The question “How do I register on vo2wl.ca” has been asked a number of times. The advantage of registering is you will receive an automated e-mail when a new post or page is put on the web site, get e-mails for club events, & have the ability to add comments at the end of posts.
Registration is easy, but the Register link has proven to be a bit difficult to find (Not me, it’s built into WordPress which the site is based on.)
When you first hit the vo2wl.ca web page, the header contains a “Login” link (circled in red below). Clicking on the link will bring up a login dialog box
On the bottom of the login dialog box, there is a link to Register. Click on the link & at a minimum, fill in your Username, password & a valid e-mail address. A verification e-mail will automatically be sent to you to verify the information you’ve entered. A link in the e-mail has to be followed in order for finalize your account registration.
If you are a registered Amateur Radio operator, please use your call sign as your username when signing up.
